FIREFIGHTER II & HAZARDOUS MATERIALS OPERATIONS
March 25, 26, 27, 28 and April 1, 2, 3, 4, 2010 at Station 1-5 in Port Townsend, WA

A course designed for the Fire Fighter I who is ready to assume more of a leadership role in a department. This course consists of classes designed to give the student more of a knowldge of fire ground situations so that he/she can make basic evaluations of safety problems and assume leadership roles in carrying out interior attacks and search operations. Hazardous Material Operations is taught as one of the blocks of this course, preparing the student to participate in defensive lead and spill control operations. This training course meets the requirements of the NFPA 1001, Standard for Fire Fighter Professional Qualifications. An IFSAC exam will be offered for those wishing to participate.
