Outdoor Burn Guidelines
EJFR no longer requires residents to complete paperwork for a burn permit. For information on the normal burn regulations in our district, click on the PDF below.
However, as of June 28, 2008 outdoor burning has been banned due to the dry summer conditions. Only campfires in designated fire pits in County and State Parks are allowed. See the memorandum below for more information.

SUBJECT: Moderate Fire Danger
With the fire danger ratings increasing, Olympic and Pacific Cascade Regions will be implementing the following restrictions:
As of 0001 June 28, 2008 all DNR burning permits and rule burns are canceled until further notice in Clallam, Jefferson, and Grays Harbor Counties.
The fire danger for Clallam, Jefferson, and Grays Harbor Counties is moderate.
If you have questions or would like to obtain a DNR burning permit for silvicultural burning West of the Wynoochee River and North of the Chehalis River, please call Olympic Region DNR at 360-374-6131. For the remainder of Grays Harbor County contact the Pacific Cascade Region Office at 360-577-2025.
For land clearing and residential backyard burning, please contact Olympic Region Clean Air Agency at 1-800-422-5623 for burning regulations.
